This particular program requires that we travel for several days deep into the pristine jungle and away from all tourist tracks. The areas where we will be, are in the deep jungle and ideally where almost no people go; with the rare exception of the occasional native hunter.
Such remote areas are exactly where these reptiles thrive and grow to the extreme lengths we are hunting for. We will have to explore many local lakes and swamps, as well as remote brooks and creeks. Then with plenty of patience, silence and time, we will find the anaconda.
The participants on the hunt will learn and apply some primitive techniques traditionally used by native hunters in order not to be felt, heard or smelt by the anaconda. They are also applied when hunting other animal species to confuse the animals when they catch human scent.
These techniques involve using very specific types of natural paints, saps and inks. The Indians and natives from deep in the jungle have used these very customs and techniques for ages.
